Let’s Create Something Beautiful

Begin Your Custom Journey with Lori Kaye Sewing

Every masterpiece begins with a conversation. Whether you are reimagining a cherished family heirloom, seeking the perfect fit for a luxury gown, or looking to master the art of the needle, I'm honored to be part of your story.

By taking on a limited number of projects each month, I can ensure that every garment receives the heart, precision, and technical mastery it deserves.

From First Stitch to Couture Design

A Lifetime of Artistry, Faith, and the Perfect Fit.

If you were to ask me when my career truly began, I wouldn’t point to my first job or even my college degree. I would take you back to when I was nine years old, sitting beside my mother, piecing together my very first dress. In that quiet rhythm of the needle, I didn't just learn how to sew—I learned that clothing is a language. It speaks of where we come from, who we are, and how we wish to present ourselves to the world.

That childhood spark grew into a lifelong calling. What started as designing my own wardrobe in my teenage years evolved into a professional pursuit of excellence. I earned my degree from the Virginia Marti of Fashion Design in Lakewood, Ohio, where I was rigorously trained in the "European Method" of pattern drafting and construction.

Today, with over 35 years of experience, I am honored to bring that same level of old-world craftsmanship and heart to Cary, North Carolina.

"I believe every stitch carries a memory. My degree gave me the technical skills, but my 35 years of experience gave me the intuition to know exactly how a fabric should move with you."
